The makers of the Upcoming Telugu Movie Sir released the first look poster, featuring: Dhanush. The poster shares the side corner of the star, which stares at a crowd in the background. The poster only shows that the regular shooting of the film has started.
However, if you take a closer look, you may notice that: DhanushThe fitted trousers and short sleeves turned up at the biceps tell a different story. The character’s fashion sense is not part of 2022. Getting up reminds us of Kamal Haasan’s Fashion Choices in movies like Nayakan and Hey Ram. More recently, Nani had worn a similar costume in his period parts of Shyam Singha Roy.
Is director Venky Atluri making a historical drama? Well, we have to wait for more information before we can conclude.

Sir marks Dhanush’s debut in Telugu film industry. And it stars Samyuktha Menon as the female lead.
Written and directed by Venky Atluri, Sir is funded by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi of Sithara Entertainments and Sai Soujanya of Fortune Four Cinemas. The film also stars Sai Kumar, Tanikella Bharani and Narra Srinivas. The film crew includes cinematographer Dinesh Krishnan, who has previously made films such as Soodhu Kavvum, Sethupathi, Thegidi, Mr.Local and Maara, National Award-winning editor Navin Nooli and composer GV Prakash Kumar.
Sir will also be shot simultaneously in Tamil as Vaathi. Dhanush was last seen in the Bollywood movie Arangi Re. While the film received mixed reviews, Dhanush’s performance received unanimous thumbs up from critics and the public.
