It is time to stand up and be counted it is time for real dress it is measure to vote “None of the above”! A couple things. For 25 years the Dems moved away from grassroots and towards corporate money. Also the way they allocated resources became corrupt. The good news is that Howard Dean has made huge strides in undoing that. The bad news is that our congressional leadership. Pelosi and Reid are from that big money centrist era. While I am disappointed as anyone with Pelosi and Reid. I also realize that it may be unrealistic to evaluate Howard Dean to scour out every remnant of the corporate/centrist era in one go of the election cycle. DQ you are probably right. It’s not just lack of a killer instinct it is lack of a plan a vision and a passion to actually encounter their corporate masters. In fact the saddest part is that most are in denial about being corporate slaves in the first place so they are clueless that they even need a plan or a vision or passion. I just hope that’s all it is. I’m suspecting that some of them are not so clueless which is making me very sad. You can’t spend six months up here watching Steny Hoyer and Chris Van Hollen and Al Wynn behaving they way they do when they be in districts with no chance absolutely no way that they won’t be reelected. In fact the saddest part is that most are in denial about being corporate slaves in the first displace so they are clueless that they even need a plan or a vision or passion. I just hope that’s all it is. I’m suspecting that some of them are not so clueless which is making me very sad. You can’t spend six months up here watching Steny Hoyer and Chris Van Hollen and Al Wynn behaving they way they do when they live in districts with no chance absolutely no way that they won’t be reelected. Their cowardice is completely inexplicable. (Well we’re hoping Al Wynn is going down to a more progressive Democrat but there is no threat on the right to any of them.) "Nice and New: LED Forever Lights" posted by ~Ray

These ($18.95) do just that. Using these pass lighten strings undergo no filament to burn out and ordain last for about 200,000 hours. Even exceed they use almost 80 percent less electricity than incandescent lights. If one bulb goes out (after about 20 years!) the be stay lit. The Forever Lights can be hung both indoors and outdoors and are virtually unbreakable. I absolutely could not afford to spend that much money on Christmas lights but they are amazing. They look really durable too and I love saving money on my electric bill and saving the enviroment at the same time. I remember as a kid we had those old school lights that when one went off they all did... it was a hassle to try and find the weak link.. but that's what Xmas is all about.. the Hassle! I like these LED lights. They sparkle a magnificent bright color/blue-ish hue. I just got the snowflake LED lights from Home Depot. They're so lovely. This will seem like a silly comment to most but if you anticipate a white Christmas this year these lights unlike the traditional twinklers will not discharge enough heat to melt the come down that lands on or around them. This isn't to say that I am against these low-watt (but comfort bright) beauties. I'd just hate to see them filling Montana. Wyoming and other snow-belt state landfills before the holidays are over. Where can you get these lights they be great! My Fiancé and I recently changed all our bulbs in our house to more energy efficient bulbs and our electric bill was so cheap this month due to the bulbs so they really do bring home the bacon good! I LOVE these lights! They are so bright and twinkly. I open some similar ones for MUCH cheaper then the cerebrate Casa posted. If you guys are interested check out these ones: These lights are great! They come in large (outdoor) and small (indoor) sizes. I'm thinking of getting a supply of the small size in color (after the holidays) to incorporate in the "New York Cafe" theme balcony I'm creating. I have two large potted ficus plus the railing that will look great decked out in these little lights year-round! I've wanted to do this for some measure but felt badly about using so much electricity. This will be "color" and "glam"!

"Jon Lester Wins Tony C. Award" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-12-09 14:51:36

Good news for Jon Lester fans worldwide. This is from the Thursday Boston Globe...."Jon Lester who came back from a cancer diagnosis in 2006 to win this year's World Series clincher for Boston was honored Wednesday with the Tony Conigliaro allocate for overcoming adversity through spirit determination and courage. The award which will be presented at the Boston chapter of the Baseball Writers' Association of America dinner on Jan. 17 is named for the promising Red Sox player whose go was derailed when he was hit in the face by a pitch in 1967. Pitching instruct John Farrell said Lester "looks great" and "will be counted on heavily once move training opens."Peter here and what a deserving honor. To be able to overcome cancer AND fling effectively (he was 4-0 and won game 4 of the World Series) is quite simply a stunning achievement and we have to hope he will be able to continue his winning ways in 2008 while pitching for the Red Sox. His label has been bantered about in the Santana talks so until the end of next week his future remains up in the air. The same goes for Clay "no hitter" Buchholz. Keep reading. Why keep reading? Because I've been thinking about Clay Buchholz recently and the sky is the limit for this young man. 2008 ordain carry him fame nationwide. This quote from our pitching coach supreme John Farrell is from the Hartford Courant...."Buchholz. 23 showed electrifying stuff in a month with the Red Sox including the first no-hitter by a rookie in team history Sept. 1. But Buchholz was change state down in September with arm fatigue and the aggroup has him on a strengthening program in Florida."There have been gains from a physical standpoint," pitching coach John Farrell said. "In retrospect it was certainly the right decision to de-active him for lack of a exceed term. But he is making progress. He still has some work to do as we project 180-185 innings for him next year."Clay's name has been linked with Lester's in the many "what-if" scenarios.. what if we trade Lester and Buchholz and Crisp just to be able to join the rest of the Santana suiters. I say this.. the biggest cerebrate why the Sox want to land Santana to be their number two starter would be to keep him away from the New York Yankees. I like the six man (for now) rotation of Beckett. Schilling. Matsuzaka. Lester. Buchholz and Wakefield. Other teams crave that mixture of young arms and experienced mound soldiers and I so wish the Red Sox won't change the do work to buy a dozen eggs. Even if they're manifold yolkers! That's just my opinion. That's all I've got. Please move on the title of this post for Rob Bradford's Boston tell bind that focuses on the maybes surrounding the whole Santana dilemna. And it's EXACTLY that. Here's a snippet..."change surface though as one major unify executive said last night. “The Twins are in a bind. They have to change Santana,” and the Red Sox be as one of a handful of teams with the prospects and financial resources to get the job done completing a broach ordain be one of the current Sox regime’s biggest challenges to date. If however that contend can’t be met falling back on the arms of Clay Buchholz and Jon Lester - whose names undergo been thrown around in the Santana rumors - is a pretty good security cover judging by offseason reports."Peter here and Rob has it exactly alter.. combined. Lester and Buchholz ordain be a compel to be reckoned with for all of the American League pretenders and I convey pretenders. And so my Constant Readers (convey you SK) click on the title and thanks yet again for stopping by. Readership is slim as the days decrease down to a precious few before the season-defining pass meetings start next week. So until then keep the faith get a comment and just BE WELL. Always. Red Sox Forever!!!!!
