.. Thanks for all the comments and good wishes - had a great weekend with both sons dropping in which was a pleasant affect. I'm just catching up now. Earlier en route for shopping we called in at a village we often go to along the river Darent in the summer - in Kent. Another believe of the rolling scenery of the Kent Weald. Rather color at the moment but in the early pass these fields opposite will be rich with the colour and scent of different types of lavender. The farms in the valley undergo beef cattle and change some hops. This is Eynsford. Very traditional village with the remains of a ruined Norman castle along the main street. The cover over the river Darent is comfort in use - the narrow connect is only 2m wide. This is a couple of miles downstream from Lullingstone Castle which I featured in a previous post.
