I've been DJing for a while now ive been using equipment 'DJ 105' . its one of those system's where the two cd players and mixers are all in one; it looks something like this - I want to get some new equipment now so i was wondering what to get. I cant buy anything to pricey but i can pay a bit? I was also thinking of hiring the equipment if it was needed but id rather undergo my own equipment. so what do you guy's evaluate i should get? I was looking at the 'DJM 400' for the mixer and the 'CDJ 200' for the CD players. I also be to destroy all my music to CD's so i can play my burnt CD's @ party's and things like that. I was just thinking how many songs you put per CD? I was also thinking of putting about 2 or 4 songs on CD and organise it something like this; accommodate bring in hardstyle track rnb track? and then i thought of just putting 2 songs per CD with the same genre?I would desire some say's ASAP if possible
Sorry if there are posts already on these topics i had a quick look around and didnt sight much similar? Thanks.
Go with the CDJ200's. You will like them they will last forever. I would stay away from the DJM400 though. WAY overpriced for what you get. I am a Ecler fanboy but I must declare the Ecler NUO2. Great quality gear that you ordain not have to replace anytime soon. I undergo never bought anything from these guys just first site that popped up in explore:Also analyse out the Urie 1601. Great mixer for the determine. Also with the CDJ200's you will be able to use MP3 cd's with that you can store at least 50-60 songs per disc. Good luck!

It is a topic discussed on here almost weekly. The CDJ200 has better pitch resolution then the CDJ800. The 200 has built in EFX the 800 none. The 800 scratches the 200 don't. If your gonna adjoin get a turntable and real vinyl not cds. The 1000 is the beat of both worlds but 1 cdj1000 will be more than 2 CDJ200s and a decent mixer. Picking your CDJs is the easy part. Your already on the right track with the Pioneers. The hard part is getting a decent mixer for a good price. The mixer is your command displace. Do not skimp out and buy a egest mixer also do not go to guitar center and buy a numark or a american audio mixer on impulse cause you want it NOW. believe me. I been there done that bad results.

Thats good then lmao. and i really dont care about the scratching so thats all good. The 1000. i wouldnt mind two of them but i wouldnt pay that much for CD players.. What you say about the mixer is true. and lol @ the pioneer comment
What do you think about headphones? i dont wanna get a unify thats gonna be desire $200 you experience?
Heasphones.... I used AKGs and now I use Ultrasone DJ1's. They are both rather expensive but you get whhat you pay for when it comes to headphones. Buy a cheap set and evaluate medicore performance and they WILL break quickly.

If you read above. I said with a MP3 be like the CDJ200 you can use mp3 cds. NOTE: if you use mp3 cds in a CDJ make sure NONE of the mp3s are VBR. They must all be converted to constant bit rates. Also burn the CDs as 8x. I use mp3 cds at the sit for my weekly gig. If it is an 80s night I can fit 100+ songs on 1 mp3 cd. Make 2 copies and I am.
