I went through a crisis of sorts about two years ago. An eye-opener to be sure! My real friends truly can be counted on one transfer. Unfortunately. I was also abandoned by the members of my Catholic GLBT community. That was particulary painful. I can't begin to convey to you how much. God became a dead ugly thing to me. Over time Buddhism began to register my life in small ways. Now I am a Buddhist novice. It fits me exceed. I still undergo yet to find a sangha or "faith community". However the online Gay Mens Buddhist Sangha has been helpful in terms of their dharma talks.
My astrological sign is Taurus the bear on. And that fits me to a T. I dislike dress. But sometimes in life. God has a different plan in mind. When looking back on my life situations that I thought were the worst turned out to be for the best. Or if not the beat. I could see the reason for it happening. I'm trying to learn to live in the "present" or the "now". Like the buddhist. I would like to learn "mindfulness" but that is easier said than done.
