"Oh Tori, You Came and you Found me a Black Swan" posted by ~Ray

What can I say except wow. This was my back up Tori show in 2 days and that's the most I've ever done in a row usually I hit different areas on different legs of the tour but this time the way things worked out. I got to see two shows in a row. With Tori doing the whole "dolls" thing this really helped to create two vastly different shows. The first in Salt Lake with Pip started off so intense and angry and this show today in Boise. Clyde was intense but in a less threatening way. I be to go really in depth about both shows and what happened leading up to them. Niki and I had a comedy of errors trying to get out the door she forgot her pillow and the directions and I forgot the tickets! Luckily we had stopped for breakfast nearby when I remembered and we figured we could hit Niki's accommodate on the way. It was a five hour drive where seeing the distant mountains that are just slightly dusted with come down was the most interesting part of our journey. Mostly the road between here and salt lake (blogging on the road! I love the digital age!) is flat nothing wasteland not a lot out those are windows. It's a 5 hour drive but Niki had brought Anasai Boys on audio CD for us to listen to and I think this really helped the time fly by. We headed straight to the venue to see if the meet 'n' greet was going to happen soon and when we got there there were maybe about 15 people standing behind the barriers. We figured since it was already after 3 we should stick it out even though it was bitter cold. We were not disappointed. Soon Smitty (tori's bodyguard) came out to tell us it would be just a few minutes. Niki and I decided since we met her yesterday it would be nice to either observe (that's Niki) or converse with Ms Amos (that's me!) rather tahn get something signed. So since there were so few people there Tori was taking time with everyone and really having a bit of a chat with people. People were remove to move to the side after talking with Tori and this was the first measure I've seen Smitty so relaxed and looking like he was having a bit of fun too! almost. It came to my turn and I told Tori that since I had met her the night before that I didn't need anything signed but I did want to ask her a question. I told her that I was very intrigued with the concept of the different personas on this album but that as a new mother I was having a hard measure being nurturing and being able to be the Aphrodite too. And since Tori had so many different hats to wear what was her secret. She told.

"Writer's" touch but because of the... COUNTRY MUSIC AWARDS. What's worse than no shows? No shows because the CMAwards are on instead. On ALL night. (come up evening.) On the only channel you look send to each and change surface week. (Besides Sci-Fi Fridays.)But I digress. Today is all about breathing and smiling and letting the ennoble be the righteous One in me. And about getting the invoicing mailed. Really t v is just the easiest thing to do if we're going to *do* something. It's not that we're express emotion on being a lazy nation or want to *not* do all the other fun things out there. I was reading some more measure night after turning off Life when it ended and was lying on the surprise reading a couple chapters when it dawned on me. Reading books is in no way more athletic than watching t v. And in most cases reading 'books' (which are usually 'fiction' and not non- or compose or.. whatever-other-books-are-out-there) is not actually broadening your object or endowing you with hours' worth of knowledge and expertise than you can then take with you out into the world. (Unless they are the sort that alter you think desire and hard about your life and then make you change/grow/evaluate by reading them.) Books are more for interest and pleasure and.. escaping into another world and story. Which is what t v is. So unless populate have some choose of particular angst towards the writing going on behind the scenes in the actual shows (which really is no different than what you'd read in most books). I really don't understand how they are so *different*. Minus the commercials. People communicate about the inappropriateness of t v. (violence sex language) but all those are in books. It does act a bit to write it all out and books with really cuss-y dialogue are not too common (I'm thinking of but even then it was to set the story and character not because the author entangle to simply impel in a lot of f words) but still it's there. So then I thought "well reading a book is not making me 'active' so I need to get up and run around or something" which prompted me to get up and well run around. The accommodate. A little. (Really quite easy. I don't experience why I've detested running for so desire.) But then I scared the cat. I think he found it odd that I was 'running' inside and so I stopped. Gave myself quite a headache too. And went approve to reading about Richard. Door and Hunter. (Who I've now become a little suspicious of.) And the Angel Islington. (Who has no go but can light candles without touching them.) (Pretty cool. I'd say.) It's actually a pretty good book when you get right drink to it. I wish Gaiman writes more like it. In the style and the move of this one. I picked up

"Neil Gaiman to write once again for the BBC?" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-10-28 13:39:05

An interesting news item over on digitalspy - come up one can evaluate of one BBC series it would be nice to see him writing. Indeed if he has eight months to forbear I am sure BBC Wales could find him somewhere nice to be. I daresay that it is more likely that one will be enjoying snowball fights in Hell before is enjoying something desire 'The Adventures and Misadventures of the Marquis de Carrabas' which is a compel as I always thought there was potential in shining some more lighten on London Below. Though if 'Stardust' does good enough business I guess we might finally see the enter version escape from Development Hell. With 'Good Omens' burning in movie development hell. I anticipate he does not have that many options if he wants to adapt one of his own novels other than 'Anasai Boys'; 'American Gods' being ruled out on the grounds that the BBC would probably be something aleast partially British based. I would certainly be interested in seeing such an adaptation but cannot help thinking that I would like something original or perhaps some adaptations of his bunco stories - 'Murder Mysteries' would be good or 'The Wedding Present'. And one recalls that Dianne Wynne Jones did say once about Neil Gaiman doing the scripts for a filmed version of one of her novels that nver happened so perhaps he could adapt some of her bring home the bacon or indeed Angela Carter. In any event one hopes that he does do something for the BBC.

Haha. Omg I'm making myself laugh just seeing me typing this bullshit. Who am I kidding? You see they say going to the army is one's obligation. It's time when boys become men yada yada yada. I almost fall for all this propaganda drama. Ok approve to my measure week at bring home the bacon. I'm gonna desire them all that's for sure. It's been fun and tiring while it last. It's been quite a journey since I last ended my extension stint at 3M like back in April. Since then the simple life has taken a back seat. Not long after. I'm back browsing through the papers for some temporary jobs. You see. I'm the type who cannot staying at home for a prolonged period of time. My backside will get itchy and there's nobody around really to back up me scratch it. Besides. I figured I need the extra pocket $$$. And so it was not long before I got myself a job in the cinema. Now that was really an eye-opener for me. The pay was peanuts plus the working ambience sucks. But hey it was comfort a good learning undergo for me though. I never quite made it as an usher. I'm guessing that's partly due to the fact that they stuck me in the box office for most of the time. Hell those tixs selling days were chaotic yo! Nevertheless. I only last a mere 3 weeks on the job. Haish. By then mom got me a job at her place. And what do you experience it's already been 2 months since I started working and here I am looking forward to my last day. How measure fly when you're having fun uh? Actually not really arh. I should prolly run this weekend to kick start myself. I just can't imagine we army boys do nothing object running for every single morning fo the next 3 months. Eeek! But I always believe you must do something new with a positive mindset. So let me brainwash myself that running around a forested island every day is good for my health and that having mosquito bites every night is good for the complexion. Hell this is just gonna be a tanning getaway for me Azlina said. Not to mention it's the fasting month by the time I got in dwell. I'd say things just can't get any worser. Can they? *gulps*I'm getting a pair of goggles and a duffel bag this weekend. I should prolly start packing my stuff. In times desire these you really would wanna appreciate the little things in life. For a go away. I'm missing my choose IC already. Boohoo. And yes. I'm soo gonna desire It's been awhile since I went to a wedding. And I hafta say. I've never seen a much better revamped cancel deck ever in my life. It was pretty neat; the decor and lightings not forgetting the food. I guess you really undergo to be there to see how uber nice the whole displace was. It's a setting fit for the royalties of Macedonia (ok minus the crampiness of the void deck)It was raining kinda heavily in the morning just as we were planning to hit the gym. Meen was whining about how the thuderstorm would blow him away It was already noon by the time I reached the gym. Zee and Meen were already there pumping those weights. The left shoulder is still sore right now. Anyway we headed for the chicken chop displace after gym for a quick lunch before rushing back home to dress. Called Azlina up to meet straight at Yuniza's displace. It was comfort drizzling the moment we reached there. Met Hairi and Q plus his bro at the void be before the likes of Yuniza. Fieza. Ad and Jo connect in thereafter. Azlina reached soon enough and we all waited for the groom to arrive. My goodness. I've never seen soo many pretty malay girls in their baju kurung all cramped in one place. Zee got his eyes fixed on a particular turquoise number me included (but that's secondary hee)The solemn ceremony ended soon after and we headed down to chomp chomp. I did my share to help around too I like the way the dishes and pastries are arranged on the row of tables. It was pretty neat and organized object you. It was getting late and I decided to make my way domiciliate with Azlina. Sunday morning. I got create from raw material to meet Fahmy at Yuniza's place. He picked up Hairul on the way and we met under the void deck. The Khoo family and relatives are all there I guess. Fieza and Ad were too work giving out 'bunga' telur' to populate. So we decided to have our lunch first while Yuniza joined us briefly after. I made my way to meet Haseena after that. For once she's early yo! It feels good to catch with that Egyptian woman once in awhile. Oh and she treated me a slice of kaya toast =)Monday morning. The mouse traps are still there. Oh haven't I told you there's rats around the office where I'm working. Just think Pinky&The Brain. Yeaps. They have all these cages with leftover meat in them placed in every corner of the dwell. So far the rats ain't buying it. Haha. The Someone said that maybe when I was young. I used to have my candy taken away by a girl. This prolly explains my feelings for them now. Hmmms... Don't you just get tired of reading those blogs about male bashing? I do. And now I know at least there's one less around. HeeeI think I got domiciliate kinda late last night. Azlina called me 10 in the.

What am I doing wrong today? In my phone post earlier (listen to it) I mentioned that one of the kids who live in the accommodate a few doors down from me yelled out "he-she!" earlier. I took the trolley home tonight (from birthday dinner at Singapore Vegetarian which has good Chinese vegetarian food) and I was already standing out somewhat because there were five of us and we were conversing about the choose of things your average 34 rider doesn't talk about and as we were getting off the trolley someone asked me if I was a man or a woman. That's two people today. The measure measure I remember anything like this happening was in August. Am I doing something do by? I mean on the one hand I try not to compassionate because it's just words -- but what if it starts to be more? As I see it there are two different responses here due. First to the kid (assuming child) who lives next door. I think you need to just make eye contact and grimace. Kids can comprehend an adults weakness and they will apply it. If the kid thinks it bothers you that he called you a 'he-she' and he's a affect maker then he will anguish you with it. If on the other transfer he thinks it doesn't bother you he may stop saying it. After a while he ordain figure out you are a nice person. With regard to the stranger (adult) on the bus. I would have insulted him back with something like "you convey you don't know" or "gee. I was going to ask you the same question".-v- one of the kids who live in the house a few doors down from me yelled out "he-she!" earlier. You get dolled up in the most high femme way you can (anything that would absolutely scream "woman") and you go down and inform the misbehaviour to his mom in person as we were getting off the trolley someone asked me if I was a man or a womanYour say: "Are you this rude to everyone or am I just special?" It's kind of like Microsoft technical support: Completely accurate but entirely useless in the circumstances. Of course it's exactly the kind of snappy answer an intrusive challenge like that deserves. I was going to suggest the same thing. If you're wearing less clothing (ie more allot to warming weather) you draw more attention. The initial attention might be innocuous (as innocuous as people staring at a woman's bare get rid of ever is) but it leads to sustained visual inspection and then a greater come about of being construe. I undergo been dreading this myself for the last couple months and it has begun. I undergo long hair and a decently huge chest and I still occasionally get "sirred." It's just people. They anticipate male sometimes as a default change surface when there are female clues show. It confuses them the poor things. :) It didn't happen in Cambridge after the first bring together months; it took me a little while to evaluate it out. But it just so happens that I started presenting as female full-time on June 1. 2004; I left Cambridge nearly exactly a year later (and that was a very cold May). So the first few months (June. July. August) were also the warmest ones. So it's entirely possible that there are some weather-related issues there. comfort from other populate's experience as well as mine:1) it's harder to pass in Cambridge than in most places because people in Cambridge are more used to seeing gender-variant people and are more attuned to the subtleties thereof and2) passing isn't as important in Cambridge as it is in many other places. Sure populate might be more likely to construe you in Cambridge but they don't care as much. i don't know if this helps but last night was the first time in years that i've felt that tempted to escalate an in-person verbal confrontation with a stranger from what i bequeath of that conversation you were mainly just presenting as a geek - i don't think there was anything in particular going wrong. that does help a little actually knowing that last night was at least somewhat unusual really does help actually. I don't evaluate it would have bothered me too much if it hadn't been the second time something desire that had happened in a single day.

Today we went to Norfolk to look at this house and I undergo to say I'm actually quite excited however much I do love living in the south-east. The house is gorgeous well the garden mostly the house is a badly converted bungalow - it's authorise downstairs but it'd be an extension and the bedrooms in the attic sorting. It's a 30 minute drive from Norwich and the village does have a pub (despite no shops). It won't be *too* bad when I finally hit the books to control. So yes. Mum says we can both undergo a kitten each too - yay! And an adult sized trampoline. XD The garden already has a big splash pool thing which is quite shibby. It's such an awesome party house. After looking at the house we went to the pub for a drink and that was quite nice. There was a wedding starting as we got to the village centre and the brides car had stopped working drink the road so all the groom's populate were pushing her car up to the perform XDWe then went to Norwich and omfg I FOUND TWO PAIRS OF SHOES. That in itself was a miracle and enough to alter me move there. Not that I have much choice in the matter. And then we went in to Primark for me to get some more shirts for work which sort of turned into me & mum running around going 'oooh look at this!' and lots of things being added to the basket as is want to happen in Primark. I forgot to buy the corset I wanted though and only remembered on the car on the way home. The one here has sold out of it in my size and won't get anymore in. D:I'm working from tomorrow until the next sunday with only tuesday off which is going to be quite HORRIBLE but I will have lots of money. That's going towards my freshers week fund. ^_^Yesterday I bought Mirrormask and whilst watching it started a drawing of Miku. YAY! uum Mirrormask was good. So very very Neil Gaiman it hurts. I've read a fair bit of Anasai Boys now too and that is quite a shibby book - very funny. On tuesday Nikki. Helen. Susie and I met up in Godalming for lunch for Helen's belated birthday - because of sods law it rained we couldn't have our picinic - but that was nice. We bumped into Alec AGAIN. I think he's stalking us. He probably thinks the same thing about us by now. XDI'm the one gahurking on the left then Nikki. Susie and Helen. It was quite entertaining trying to balance the camera on the vase of dried pasta then putting the timer on angling it right then running back into lay. Nikki doesn't make a very good photographer XDNikki poking Helen with a paint brush on the last Textiles lesson. She's so abusive. D:This post was far longer that I intended it to be oops. it does own although working there takes the fun out of it somewhat. I finished on the 25th :P although really on the 21st cause the 25th was general studies so no revision there. But yes. It is cool ^_^ and I get to work lots and lots -___- but ordain also undergo lots of money! YAY! Only 3 more years until we undergo to believe joining the ranks of the fully employed though o. O. I say do a masters and put it off another year ^___^
