John A. Macy who had helped Keller with her autobiography. Macy soon died at the age of 55 in 1932. Sullivan stayed with Keller at her home and joined her on tours. Διαβάζω την ελευθεροτυπία καθημερινά. την Athens express κάθε Πέμπτη. τη στήλη " απόψεις " από την Καθημερινή της Κυριακής. και. όποτε έχω περισσότερο χρόνο. τις στήλες " ανάπτυξη " και "science " του Κυριακάτικου Βήματος.'Όλοι οι αρθρογράφοι είναι πολύ αξιόλογοι κι ανάμεσά τους προτιμώ τον Μιχάλη Μιχαηλίδη. την Κυρά Αδάμ και την ομάδα του " ιού " από την Ελευθεροτυπία. Τον Φώτη Γεωργελέ. τον Νίκο Γεωργιάδη και τον Προκόπη Δούκα από την Athens express. Τον Χαρίδημο Τσούκα. τον Αντώνη Καρκαγιάννη και τον Χρήστο Γιανναρά από την Καθημερινή της Κυριακής.Την περίοδο των φετινών πυρκαγιών. γράφτηκαν πολύ συγκινητικά κείμενα στην Ελευθεροτυπία. Στην πυρκαγιά της Πάρνηθας. η Κυρά Αδάμ. στο άρθρο της " Έργα και ημέρες της ΔΕΗ στα δάση " ( Κυριακάτικη Ελευθεροτυπία 02/07/2007) . απορεί πως. τα μπιτόνια και τα " γνωστά - άγνωστα " γκαζάκια. που βρέθηκαν κατόπιν πυρκαγιάς στην περιοχή. άντεχαν σε θερμοκρασίες άνω των σημείων τήξης των υλικών τους…. ενώ ο Μιχάλης Μιχαηλίδης είχε συνεχή ανταπόκριση από τους bloggers για το θέμα. απ' όπου ήλθα κι εγώ για πρώτη φορά σε επαφή με την μπλογκόσφαιρα. Εκείνες τις μέρες. στην Καθημερινή της Κυριακής. ο Χαρίδημος. Τσούκας έγραφε " Όλα στα κάρβουνα " ( 22.07.2007 ) και λίγο αργότερα ( 02.09.2007 ). ο Χρήστος Γιανναράς αναρωτιόταν εμπνευσμένα όπως πάντα : " Θα υπάρξει απελπισμός με συνέπεια ; "Όταν διάβασα ότι ο κ. Τσούκας έκανε blog. το αποφάσισα: θα έκανα κι εγώ ένα. για όλους όσους θέλουν να μάθουν μαζί μου περισσότερα πράγματα για την εποχή μας. Ένας γλυπτός απειλητικός κροκόδειλος σε φυσικό μέγεθος. ξαφνιάζει τους περαστικούς και στον τοίχο η επιγραφή : προσοχή κροκόδειλοι. Παίζουν. Καταλαβαίνεις μια πόλη όταν περπατάς στους δρόμους και μπαινοβγαίνεις στα μαγαζιά. Το μουντό. βροχερό. αυστηρό Λονδίνο που ήξερα. έχει δώσει τη θέση του σε μια ολοζώντανη. νεανική πόλη ".
